Job Roles :
1. Shift In charge – Process Plant Operations / Shift Managers / Shift Coordinators.
Qualifications and Experience:
Graduation specialized in Mineral, Chemical / Metallurgy with 4 – 10 years of Experience.
KRA’s:
✓ Drive the site equipment, people and processes to maximize production;
✓ Monitor and control all plant parameters to exceed the main plant KPI’s of throughput, recovery and product quality;
✓ Coordinate real-time plant feed rate and ore quality with Wash Plant Superintendent/Shift Manager. pre-empt ore attribute impacts on plant performance to optimize plant control responses;
✓ Ensure equipment is operated within defined operating strategies and procedures;
✓ Ensure high utilization of the plant;
✓ Assist in oversight of major plant shutdowns, maintenance activities and start-ups;
✓ Direct the Shift Process & Maintenance Engineers on Process/Eng. Priorities
✓ Coach shift personnel, particularly Shift Supervisors and Senior Mechanical Personnel and drive for operational excellence;
✓ Always be contactable when on shift and be able to report detailed plant performance status; Conduct detailed handovers;
✓ Provide detailed shift plant performance reports;
✓ Erection, commissioning, ramping up and stabilization of mineral beneficiation plant.
✓ Devise plan to set and achieve production along with quality parameters to ensure fulfilment of company’s business plan.
✓ Planning of day-to-day requirement like raw material, consumables and dispatch of product.
✓ Responsible for day-to-day operation of plant to achieve production target and quality parameters.
✓ Process optimization by carrying out different test works with parameters of individual equipment as well as circuit.
✓ Conceptual study of mineral beneficiation plant, mass balance, P&ID to achieve process performance guarantee parameters.
✓ Commissioning, ramping up and stabilization of newly installed beneficiation equipment and plant.
✓ Possess knowledge of surface property-based beneficiation as well as gravity separation process.
✓ Knows operation of Crushers, Screen(s), Grinding Mills, Hydro-cyclones, Dense Media Cyclone, Spiral Classifier, Flotation Machines, Scrubbers, Log washer, Thickener, Filtration Machine.
✓ Understanding of design and selection criteria of various mineral processing equipment and processes.
✓ Skilled to do Mass Balance Calculation and Water Balancing.
✓ Resourceful in analyzing and achieving the required Grade and Recovery of Minerals by optimizing the process, equipment and the reagents.
