📢 Internship Opportunity : Partnerships & Communication Intern
ChildFund is looking for a Partnerships and Communication Intern to support donor engagement, communication, and visibility across our programs.
📍 Duty Station: Maputo, Mozambique
🕒 Duration: 6 months (with possibility of extension)
📂 Department: Partnerships & Business Development
👥 Reports to: Specialist II – Partnership Portfolio
Key Responsibilities
• Support partner mapping, donor scoping, BD trackers, and concept notes
• Develop and edit communication content (stories, briefs, social media, visuals)
• Support digital media management and engagement tracking
• Document field activities for the MUAVULUXE Project (Ilha de Moçambique & Nacala Porto)
• Assist with knowledge management, donor reporting, and newsletters
• Support partnership meetings, donor visits, and events
🎓 Education Requirements
Applicants must be:
• In final year of a Bachelor’s degree, or
• Enrolled in a Master’s program, or
• Graduated within the last 12 months
Relevant fields: Communications, Journalism, Marketing, International Relations, Development Studies, Public Health, or related fields.
Skills & Assets
• Strong English writing and editing skills
• Fluency in Portuguese and English (written & verbal)
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Knowledge of Canva, Adobe Suite, Photoshop is an advantage
• Interest in development, partnerships, and humanitarian work
